Red Ribbon = Reject the Spectra Pipeline

Residents and businesses opposed to the current proposed location of Spectra’s high-pressure gas pipeline and M&R Station—being built adjacent to a blasting quarry in the heavily residential Grove Street area with construction starting in June—should tie a red ribbon around a tree, their fence, on a stake, or anywhere it will be visible to achieve a show of solidarity against this dangerous project. Any red ribbon will do, but the redder and wider, the better. If you don’t have a red ribbon on hand, AC Moore has a supply in different widths. You can also pick up a ribbon provided by West Roxbury Saves Energy at either Atlas True Value (1871 Centre Street) or Hercules Press (91 Spring Street) if you are not able to get one on your own. A red ribbon signifies “Reject the Spectra Pipeline”—show your opposition to this project that is endangering our West Roxbury neighborhood by displaying your red ribbon now.
