Hazardous waste drop-off day in West Roxbury Nov. 23

Boston residents only—proof of residency required

Latex or Acrylic (water-based) paints are no longer accepted at hazardous waste days. They are not hazardous and can be safely disposed of in your trash. Boston’s trash is incinerated in waste-to-energy facilities.

Residents may bring up to 50 pounds of products labeled toxic, flammable, reactive, corrosive, or poisonous, such as: oil-based paint, motor oil, pesticides, solvents, glues, bleach or ammonia-based cleaners, weed killers, photo chemicals, pool chemicals, car batteries, and used motor oil.

The City will dispose of materials safely and free of charge.

Computers, TVs, and all other electronics will be not be accepted on Nov. 23 at this location.

No commercial waste will be accepted. Foot traffic is prohibited.
